By booking tickets, you agree to the terms & conditions and privacy policies set by:
1.a. Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
1.b. Please be with us no later than 15 minutes before your show starts. All shows start on time, and latecomers may not be admitted.
1.c. We don't require a printout of your ticket as long as you have a confirmation email, print-screen, or PDF on your phone.
1.d. For food and drinks, we currently operate a cashless bar and table service. We cannot accept cash payments.
1.e. The product images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product.
1.f. In order for us to clean the venue between shows, customers will be asked to leave promptly at the end of the performance.
1.g. Our shows are recommended for people aged 16 and above. Guests aged between 16–17 years old are permitted in the venue until 11pm and must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 are not permitted unless otherwise noted in the show descriptions or agreed in advance by us.
1.h. Refunds will only be issued with more than one week’s notice, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by Monkey Barrel Comedy.
1.i. If we suspect you are too intoxicated, we reserve the right to refuse entry or remove you from the premises without a ticket refund.
1.j. Please note that performances may be filmed, photographed, or live streamed, and CCTV is used within our venues. Attendance at an event signifies your consent to being filmed or recorded, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
1.k. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be switched off or silenced during shows. Disruptive use may result in removal without refund.
1.l. Talking during performances is disruptive to the acts and audience. Repeated disturbances may result in removal without refund.
1.m. We reserve the right to change the advertised line-up without notice. Refunds will not be issued due to changes in advertised performers.
1.n. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold for profit. Any tickets found to be resold above face value may be cancelled without refund.
2.a. Group bookings of 7 or more people must be agreed in advance by contacting boxoffice@monkeybarrelcomedy.com.
2.b. It is not possible to book more than 6 tickets online. For any bookings made via multiple purchases without pre-agreement, we reserve the right to cancel in advance.
2.c. Anyone circumventing our group rules by booking under different names or emails may be refused entry at the door on the night, with no refund given. This also applies to additional people joining a pre-agreed group.
2.d. Fancy dress is not permitted.
2.e. A fully refundable good behaviour bond may be taken for large group bookings at the time of booking confirmation, or for anyone wishing to join a group on the night. If our DIDA policy is breached this may result in the behaviour bond not being eligible for a refund.

3.b. The Monkey Barrel Comedy Show Terms and Conditions under Section 1 apply only to purchases made directly through Monkey Barrel Comedy and not through third-party ticket issuers, inclusive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. 3.c. Tickets remain the property of Monkey Barrel Comedy. We reserve the right to cancel tickets, refuse admission, or eject any person whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in breach of these terms.
3.d. Tickets cannot be exchanged for other shows or dates, unless agreed at our discretion.
4.a. We cannot guarantee access to our venues. Our Box Office must be contacted in advance if you have any access requirements, so we can advise on the options available.
4.b. Detailed accessibility information for each of our venues can be found here: Accessibility. If the room for an event is not listed, it may not yet have been confirmed, and it is the responsibility of the customer to contact us for confirmation before buying a ticket.
4.c. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs, but admission cannot be guaranteed without prior notice.
5.a. Monkey Barrel Comedy Ltd accepts no responsibility for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged on the premises.
5.b. Attendance at events is at your own risk. Monkey Barrel Comedy is not liable for injuries sustained on the premises, except where caused by negligence on our part.
5.c. Customers must follow any health & safety, fire safety, or staff instructions while on the premises.
6.a. Tickets are valid only for the event, date, and time stated.
6.b. We reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased fraudulently or through unauthorised channels.
6.c. Complimentary or promotional tickets have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7.a. Disruptive, aggressive, discriminatory, or abusive behaviour towards staff, performers, or other customers will not be tolerated. Anyone acting in this manner may be removed without refund.
7.b. Recording or photographing performances without prior permission is strictly prohibited.
8.a. We reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel events. In such cases, refunds or exchanges will be offered at our discretion.
8.b. We cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including transport delays, weather conditions, or external events that may prevent the show from going ahead or the customers attendance.
9.a. Any special offers, discounts, or promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
9.b. Discounts must be claimed at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.
