THE COURSE
Building upon the skills learned in improv 101 & 201, Improv 301 is where students begin to dive into The Harold, learning the structure as well as how to generate ideas from new openings! Students will develop a deeper understanding of scene dynamics and work together to build group games. By the end of this course, students will be comfortable pulling ideas from an opening, finding and playing games in scenes, committing to character choices, in addition to working as an ensemble to build upon the structure of the Harold.
This course meets for 8 sessions, 3 hours each and culminates with a show in Monkey Barrel Comedy.

Monkey Barrel Comedy is situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. Our rooms are located on opposite sides of the street at the top end of Blair Street, just off the Royal Mile. Our venues can be easily accessed by bus or taxi from South Bridge or by foot from the Cowgate or the High Street.

As with many venues in the historic Old Town, some of our spaces have accessibility limitations. We have three year-round performance spaces (MB1, MB3, MB4).
